OK! We have been so encouraged in the last 2 days to have matched $60.00 of that $1500.00, but we would really love to get a little closer! So I spent the weekend (with the help of my girls) cutting, and sewing quilts!
In the beginning: A daunting pile of fabric and a semi-sharp rotary cutter.
One loooong Saturday later: Several piles of squares waiting to be turned into quilts.
Finally Strawberry Shortcake turns from this to.....
This: 3 Layers of sweet soft flannel forming the prettiest little ruffles around each square.
